Warehouse Operative

(Full Time)

Role Summary:

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our busy and friendly Warehouse team. Our Operatives are responsible for the distribution of picked goods to the relevant assembly points, when appropriate acting upon special inspection instructions, highlighting discrepancies as a result of picking operation/product non-conformance and complete appropriate paperwork.

Your typical day in this role will involve: 

  • Picking goods according to picking/product label 
  • Inspection of picked goods according to special instructions detailed on packing lists
  • “Break down” of pack unit quantities where appropriate, to order requirements
  • Reporting non-conformances highlighted to an appropriate supervisor
  • Packing of orders into cartons or pallets, depending on requirements
  • Responsible for the equipment, tidiness of work areas and for departmental housekeeping duties as directed by your Supervisor
  • To correctly operate any machinery and I.T. systems as instructed
